Mrs. Paularinne: I just wanted you and the boys to know that we are continuing to pray for you all. Our hearts break with you and for you, but we as a school family will continue to be here for you. We love and appreciate you all. As a wife you have shown th example to so many ladies of what God meant by "til death do us part". You were faithfully there for Peter and God has taken notice. Your husband has left an indelible mark on us as both a father and a fellow believer. He lived his faith, he loved his family and today he looks at his Heavenly Father. Acts 10:38 says this about Jesus, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good..." That's a great description of your husband as well - he went about doing good. if there is anything we can do to be an encouragement, please don't ever hesitate to call. Mr. Duncan

Cathy, Devon and Austin, You have been in our thoughts and prayers throughout the past year and will continue to be in our prayers. Your testimony and witness of faith and love for the Lord has been encouraging to all of us. Our heart aches for you as your husband and father has made his "Blessed Journey" into the arms of the Lord. As wonderful as it is to know his suffering is over and he has been healed, the void left behind is deep. We pray God's grace to be sufficient and His peace to be everlasting. We count ourselves blessed to have known Peter. He was truly "one of a kind". A gentle loving man who loved his wife, children, family, friends and the Lord. His countenance was always beautiful, victorious and uplifting. To know Peter was to love him. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Heaven has become sweeter and the Lords' return more precious. We love you. Dear Cathy, Devin, and Austin, I have never met you personally but feel I have been in your presence. Jeanette Maas has send me regular emails of Peter's condition and both of your testimonies for our Lord. Praying also for Dr. Boldin, that he may know his need for our Lord is greater than any other need in his life! Certainly. Peter and you, Cathy have been an encouragement to me and others. I pray God's peace will surround you each and every day. His love for us continues to shine in our lives. Numbers 6:24-26 Nancy

Dear Cathy, Devin & Austin, We will continue to pray for you all and ask GOD to meet all your needs. We've only spoken on the phone with you Cathy, while Sam was going through his treatments at St. Joseph's Cancer Center, but Amy has been faithful to keep us informed as to how to pray for you all. Our dear friends, the Maass family, your neighbors, had originally asked us to pray for Peter since we were going through a similar experience...Angela & Paul prayed with us at the hospital(during his inpatient stays) several times for Peter before we realized we were praying for the same Peter(GOD brings believers together)...we can't imagine the pain you are feeling of the loss of a dear husband and father, but can praise GOD that Peter was a wonderful testimony and brought glory to the FATHER in his suffering. We pray you'll receive the comfort that only our Savior can give! In HIM, Kathie & Sam Moore

Dear Cathy,Devin& Austin, You do not know us, we are friends of Judi & Pertti BUT we have been praying forPeter and you for a long time. Sometimes we will never know all what God has done. Sometimes God shows us some of it down here and our spirits get revived. The song of I Can Only Imagine was played at my brother's funeral3 years ago. He went to be with the Lord after his battle with stomach cancer. May THE LORD give you peace, strength and courage to meet the days ahead. May you see the salvation of loved ones, which we have also been praying for through this trial for you. That would be the biggest blessing I know. The song "Through it all" now comes to my mind. May your trust in God Grow and may others Trust,in Him begin maybe even today. With our Prayers, John & Susan Cranmer

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives. We must say, however, that we feel somewhat cheeted because our encounters with Peter were so few, and his life so embracing. His memorial service today was both challenging and encouraging to us as a family. All four of us both laughed and cried with you. We hope to continue our friendship with you all, and have been deeply changed by your lives. The Reese-Pardue family

Kathy, Devon, & Austin. Whew! Now that I sit to really type, I am speachless, but my heart cries out. Yes you two, Kathy & Peter are soul mates. Now Peter has perfect healing beyond what any of us can imagine. I played with the idea of coming to Fla about the time of his passing and did not. You & your family are a circle of unending strength & faith. One with a ripple effect. Peters work continues after his passing. Peace, Becca

Cathy, You and I have never met, but I know your sister Amy from when my children went to Citrus Park Christian School. The Lord has brought our family to the sate of North Dakota now, but I wanted you to know my family prayed for you and Peter and your boys throughout his illness, and continued to do so in his death. Amy's e-mails and Peter's testimony was truly an inspiration to so many, and truly a testament to the faithfulness of God. Peter has run the race, he has completed the task God had for him, and is now at the finish line that we here on earth are still running towards. It is a beautiful thing to know Peter is now with our Heavenly Father. What his eyes must be seeing! The song "I Can Only Imagine" came on the other day, a song that for those of us on earth can listen to and only try to imagine the glory and beauty of heaven - but Peter is there at this moment reveling in the beauty and majesty of our Lord, Jesus Christ, communing with Him, being with Him - it gives me chills just thinking about it. I just want you to know that Peter's impact went beyond the people he knew, to people he did not know, like myself. When I got your e-mail that Amy had forwarded to me, I could not believe it had been one year since Peter's passing. But that is just one year closer to the day you will all be reunited again. I will pray for your children and that they will follow your husband's godly example, and hold fast to the many promises of our faithful God. May God bless you and whole family abundantly, and may His peace that passes all understanding fill up your home with the reassurance of His promises.

Cathy, Devin and Austin, As we all know, Peter was one of the finest Christian men who ever walked this planet, Earth. The dedication he had to God and his family was incredible. It was certainly an inspiration to me, to see a Christian man who was so loving and devoted to God and family. It gave me hope, and not total despair, in everything in this world. There is nothing stronger than a Christian man who walks with God. It is a beautiful sight. You come to mind, often, and I send up prayers. Hang in there. God uses us daily -- even when we don't think He is. Love and prayers, Debbie

CATHY,DEVIN,AUSTIN: EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT KNOW YOUR HUSBAND/DAD PERSONALLY, I KNOW HIM THROUGH CATHY. SHE ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT WHAT A WONDERFUL HUSBAND AND FATHER HE WAS AND ALL THE TIMES SPENT TOGETHER AS A FAMILY. THIS YOU SHOULD CHERISH FOREVER. I WAS INFORMED AND KEPT IN TOUCH THROUGHOUT HIS FIGHT WITH THE CANCER. FROM WHAT I READ, HE WAS A FIGHTER TO THE VERY END. IT WAS SO GREAT THAT YA'LL WERE ABLE TO GO TO THE MOUNTAINS AND ALWAYS HOLD THAT MEMORY. HOLD THE MEMORY FOREVER OF HOW HE HELPED YOU THOUGH LIFE TO THE END WHEN HE WENT TO BE WITH THE LORD. I CAN UNDERSTAND HOW HARD IT IS NOT TO HAVE A FATHER/HUSBAND. JUST REMEMBER TO CARRY ON HIS WISHES FOR A LIFE FILLED WITH HAPPINESS AND JOY. HE WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU IN SPIRIT. I WORKED WITH YOUR MOM AT BUSCH GARDENS AND SHE WAS ALWAYS SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON. WE WOULD TALK QUITE FREQUENTLY. CATHY, I KNOW THINGS ARE TOUGH. YOUR MESSAGE THAT AMY SENT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL AND HOLDS TRUE TO THE HEART. MY PRAYERS AND LOVE ARE WITH YOU ALL. MADELON

I hope there is not a limit on how many words I can put into this message because I cannot promise that my words CAN be limited when I'm speaking of my Uncle Peter. I can start by saying that if I had to put my blessings in order by which I am most grateful for…I would have to say that after the wonderful (which doesn’t even begin to describe) family I have been given by God, I count My Uncle Peter as the second blessing in my life that I am most grateful for. He was like having an angel for an Uncle. So perfect, so sweet and so kind. There are just so many words that come to mind when I think of him I could fill a page but if I absolutely had to choose one I would probably say devoted. He was a man devoted to his wife, (my amazing Aunt Cathy), his boys (my precious Devin and Austin), and most importantly his God (my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ) and the wellbeing of others and others coming to know God no matter what it took. There are so many things in my life that wouldn’t exist right now if it wasn’t for him. Things like my half covered wall that is nothing but the year the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup (which I am so happy he got to see), my love for hockey, my passion for seeing others come to know Christ, and my gratefulness for absolutely EVERYTHING that I have. I have also since then become a huge supporter of the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer. I am kind of ashamed of myself that it took something like this to make me realize what others go through each and everyday fighting cancer. I guess since it has affected me and taken someone so dear to me I finally realize what an issue it is and I’m sure if he was still here he would continue to support finding a cure as well. Uncle Peter has truly left a legacy and an impact on my life that I will never lose. Although I cannot come to my senses of why he was taken from us I will always justify his death by knowing that we definitely did not deserve someone like him here on earth…he is know in Heaven with the angels where I know he fits in so perfectly. I love you Uncle Peter and cannot wait to see you again!
